Each year, Americans gain an average of 1 lb. per year.  This weight gain is not only a nuisance, but as 20 years pass and the average person gains 20 lbs., it puts them at risk for heart diseases, diabetes, cancer, and premature aging.  Recent research has also revealed that high blood sugar levels are associated with early death.  So finding a way to lower blood sugar levels may be one of the most important ways to live a long and healthy life!

Take action now by incorporating some simple, effective substances — therapeutic-grade essential oils — into your daily regimen!   Essential oils are Mother Nature’s secret weapons for health.  And not only can they help you indulge responsibly from time to time, but they can contribute to lower blood sugar levels, help prevent weight gain, and lead to better health!

Ten Tips for Reducing Blood Sugar Levels

10. Inhale peppermint oil before eating any meal. This will naturally curb your appetite.

Researchers have found that in a double-blind placebo study, subjects who inhaled peppermint essential oil before each meal ate an average of 2,000 less calories per week than the control group!

9. Add ocotea oil in the water you drink throughout the day. (use glass, not plastic).

Ocotea oil has a cinnamon-like aroma and flavor, but is more gentle on the mouth and nasal passages than cinnamon and appears to pack an especially powerful punch to balancing blood sugar levels.

8. Use nutmeg and orange oils daily in your food. — In smoothies, oatmeal, etc…

More potent than the spice or the fruit, nutmeg and orange oils provide heavenly flavor while helping to enhance the function of the adrenal gland — essential in helping energy levels and contributing to balanced blood sugar levels.

7. Use coriander oil on the inner ankles or in capsules daily.

Coriander essential oil has been studied for its ability to help dissolve fat.  It also appears to have an affect on hormone secretions and can be helpful in balancing blood sugars through internal use or application to such areas as the inner ankles.

6. Ocotea oil under the tongue 3 times/day for severe blood sugar issues.
