It’s no secret that I love Young Living Essential Oils. If you have come to this page, you are probably one of my Essential Survival clients, a Young Living distributor, or both. Maybe you are subscribed to my weekly Essential Survival newsletter and are in to survival and preparedness. Maybe we are Facebook friends or have connected on Twitter. Or maybe you are a Young Living distributor looking for something to give you better results in your business. Either way, can I share my story with you?
My Young Living Passion
I was exposed to Young Living products in 2005 by my massage therapist, Theresa Teeter. Theresa had been giving me massage for about 5 years and knew better than most people in my life just how sick I was with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and fibromyalgia. One day in 1999 I woke up with the flu, and instead of recovering within a few days, it spiraled down into these two nebulous, debilitating conditions. I spent the better part of my 20′s partially-disabled and with the stamina of a sick 80-year-old.
Massage was one of the things that seemed to help me, but progress was slow. In August 2005 and after 6 years of severe, debilitating fatigue, brain fog, and major disruption to my life, Theresa gave me a bottle of NingXia Red — a nutrient infusion from Young Living. I was pretty skeptical that this “energy drink” wouldn’t work for me, but I went ahead and tried it anyways. Within one week I had downed the entire bottle of NingXia Red and I was exercising for the first time in six years without being bed-ridden the next day! I had about 95% of my health restored that week and could work full-time for the first time since 1999!
I tried Peace & Calming and valerian oils to help me with my six-year bout with insomnia and was finally able to get off the sleeping medications I was addicted to and had been on for five years!
My health has taken me on a journey that has led me to some great treasures, one of which is Young Living. Today my passion is to not only help people heal from illness but be prepared to take care of their health in the event of disaster or societal chaos/collapse that many believe to be coming.
I believe there is no more urgent time than now to share Young Living’s amazing products with our loved ones and business associates. One problem for many people is not why to share Young Living’s essential oils, but HOW . . .
My Experience Building a Business with Young Living
Nobody was more enthusiastic about sharing Young Living than I was in 2005 when I got my health restored and wanted to take out the debt I had accumulated during my illness. I started out excited and full of belief, with no prior experience in business, and with no system to build with. Needless to say, I fell flat on my face. I’m actually amazed I kept going!
Over the past 6 1/2 years, I have tried almost everything you can think of to build my Young Living business. During the first couple of years, I would put flyers on cars in parking lots and leave cards on ATM machines and gas pumps. I spent a few hundred dollars advertising in magazines. I spent a few thousand dollars buying leads and hundreds of hours calling them. I spent $9,000 advertising on a prominent website. Unfortunately, results were often disappointing.
I spent 2 years training with Dani Johnson getting a first-class education on business and personal growth. For 7 months, I was in a small-group mentorship group with Dani, one of the most sought-after couches in the home business industry and a guru on debt reduction, relationships, and more. (See Dani on the TV show “Secret Millionaire” here). I invested in ecommerce training with elite online coach Sandi Krakowski and built my Essential Survival website. This investment has been costly, but totally worth it for me.
One of the best things that came out of my training with Dani was that I was able to work with her to develop a system to share Young Living. Dani actually gave me the presentation scripts that she herself used to go from being homeless at age 21 to making her first million dollars by age 23!
I spent months modifying these powerful scripts for Young Living and its products. I did this initially for myself and my team members. I went from getting spotty results to often a 100% closing ratio on my home parties. I helped several of my brand new Young Living team members use the scripts and earn hundreds of dollars in just a few hours of work!
Over time, I have realized that not only for the new person, but for me — these scripts are far and away the quickest way to make money with Young Living!
